Chigwell, Essex—27th April 2025:
The SHE Awards UK returned with grandeur this year, honoring inspirational women from all walks of life in a heartfelt celebration held in the heart of Chigwell, Essex. Launched in 2018 to mark the centenary of women’s right to vote in the UK, the SHE Awards have grown into a respected platform that continues to spotlight the outstanding achievements of women across a diverse range of industries.
Co-founded by Sharifa Begum and Imdad Basit, the 2025 event gathered 250 attendees from across the country to recognise and uplift excellence across 15 impactful categories— including Business, Arts & Culture, Community Champions, Culinary Skills, Media, Health & Fitness, and more.
Hosted by the charismatic Noreen Khan, the evening was elevated by powerful keynote talks from BBC’s The Apprentice 2022 winner Harpreet Kaur and plane crash survivor and motivational speaker Tulsi Vagjiani, who moved the audience with their remarkable journeys of resilience and empowerment.
