PURPOSE-DRIVEN, SUSTAINABLE PR – Chimere Cisse

Chimere Cissé is a Global Publicist, Contributing Editor and Founder of cultural communications platform CISSÉ, where clients include purpose driven organisations such as the United Nation’s International Trade Centre, to private individuals leading change in the areas of tech innovation, sustainability and cultural impact such as Dame Tessy Antony de Nassau and her recent NFT drop with Thomas Iser for Human Highness to Los Angeles based BLANK founder Brittney Murphy and over many years supporting PR for supermodel Helena Christensen’s collaborations. 

Prior to this Chimere held Senior PR and Communication positions for global organisations including Hearst Magazines where she spent half a decade at Harper’s Bazaar & ELLE Magazine, and undertaking strategic communications for luxury British brand Burberry.

A fervent arts advocate, Chimere regularly contributes to foundations and venues bridging cultural participation, co-founding art consultancy ArtKōrero in 2020, she is also a founding partner of Metaverse platform Throne alongside legendary music producers Gee Roberson and Nellee Hooper.

Based between London and the Middle East, Chimere has worked with internationally recognised talent and thought leaders throughout her career, with her production work appearing in titles from Architectural Digest to Vogue. A guest lecturer at the University of East London and Fashion Scout, she is a frequent public speaker and panelist supporting the representation of minority groups in media and mentoring BIPOC talent of tomorrow.

Chimere’s work has been always been towards purpose driven Sustainable PR. The term was absolutely unknown to us to us when we met Chimere for our Dubai edition Launch in March 2022.

What makes PR a Sustainable and why do we need one? As a Digital Media this understanding was extremely important for us to know. We certainly want to include everything which we can to offer and help our clients with a Sustainable PR.
